Terms of sale and service.

I am happy to promote genuine horses and ponies on a commission on sale basis personally and via the Internet from my personal pages, which can also be accessed at

www.horse-sales.com/

When submitting horses for sale they should be physically and mentally sound and free from vice. Sellers must accept that buyers will probably require each horse to be sold with a full set of x-rays as a minimum requirement. The type of horse which sells best is one with pedigree and papers, which looks good, behaves and performs well for the purpose for which it is bought. Whether the client is looking for from a first horse to a horse competing at the highest level they will more often be looking for something that is "ready to go" in their field of interest. Where we are requested to promote the sale of quantities of horses such as polo ponies we may not always include pictures of all of the ponies.

A professional service.
As the agent bringing buyer and seller together I look to provide a good choice of horses (and ponies) for the buyer while enabling the seller to secure a good price genuinely reflecting the true value of their horse. In such a deal everyone profits. I earn my commission from the seller unless the buyer requests that I advise them in making their purchase.

Charges. I charge a minimum commission of $800 or £500 or 10% of the sale price. On occasions where I can sensibly secure you a much better price than you are asking I will advise you and the normal procedure is to split the profit above your asking price.

Of course good presentation will sell yourhorse more effectively. If you already have good existing web-site presentation we will copy it at no charge. Where web pages have to be professionally designed by us the charge is a flat $100 or £75 per horse. In all cases we reserve the right to refuse to promote or remove any horse from our pages without refund reason or claim against us.

Liability. In all cases we promote horses with the facts provided to us by the owners. As agents we trust that the details given to us to print are correct but will accept no liability should that not be the case. We therefore advise buyers to substantiate that the details promoted by the sellers through us and that they arre consistent with the truth.
