Royal Charmer (ISH) wins at Belfast CSI 5*

The first Belfast 5* Indoor International Horse Show took place last weekend, November 27th to 30th, in the Odyssey Arena. Irish Sport Horse Royal Charmer (ISH) was ridden by Markus Fuchs (SUI) to win the My Travel Lite Top Flight 1m40 class on Friday. Boherdeal Clover (ISH) came third in the Odyssey Welcome
Stakes 1m40 class on Thursday, ridden by Lt. David O’Brien (IRE). Fridays Odyssey Jump off 1m50 class found Gelvin Clover (ISH) ridden by Clem McMahon (IRE) in third place.

On Thursday Robert Smith (GBR), who won the Best Rider in Belfast title, rode Gerry Maguire (ISH) to take second place in the Welcome Stakes 1m35 class. They also came second in Saturdays Crumley Construction 1m45 class, joint second in the Puissance with XL (ISH) ridden by Harry Marshall (IRE) and Midnight Call (ISH) ridden by Edward Doyle (IRE) and second in Sundays Six Bars class, in which Katie Riddle (ISH) and Lars Nieberg (Ger) came third. Showtime (ISH) came tenth in the Belfast Envirocare Grand Prix on Sunday.

Also competing over the weekend, Touch of Clover (ISH) was ridden by Fidel Vogt (LIE) to take seventh in the Gorla Minore (ITA) CSI 1* Grand Prix yesterday while That’s Life (ISH) and Michel Hecart (FRA) came second in the Paris Porte de Versailles CSI 4* Prix Ceneca class.

Finally, the Stockholm CSI 3* and 4* saw Richmont Park (ISH) ridden by Royne Zetterman (SWE) take seventh in yesterdays Stockholm Mitsubishi Grand Prix.
