TopSpec Sponsor HOYS Intermediate Worker Series

TOPSPEC is to sponsor the Intermediate Working Hunter Pony of the Year series with the final culminating at the Horse of the Year Show.

Well known for encouraging young riders on their way to greater success, TopSpec has been involved in the working hunter and show hunter scene for many years.

To be known as the TopSpec Intermediate Working Hunter Pony of the Year, the sponsorship is a first venture for the company into supporting a major championship at HOYS.

But they do sponsor show producers and riders Magnus Nicholson, Charles Le Moignan and Katy Carter.

Nicola Tyler of TopSpec said: "We are delighted to be sponsoring the Intermediate Workers. The class provides a stepping stone for riders coming off ponies and before they have to make what can be a huge leap for many into Open Working Hunter classes. It can often take considerably more skill to produce a clear round on a horse than a pony and these classes provide a perfect learning curve.

"Many riders and producers in the showing world have supported us since we launched TopSpec Equine and we have witnessed some wonderful results over the years with horses and ponies fed on TopSpec products.

"Supporting the series is our way of putting something back into a sector that we thoroughly enjoy and that requires horses and ponies to be in peak condition, focussed and full of stamina."
