USA EQUESTRIAN ANNOUNCES EARLY MAILING OF MEMBERSHIP RENEWALS

USA Equestrian (formerly AHSA) announced today that mailing for membership
renewals began on September 17, 2001, which is the earliest time for mailing
of renewal forms in recent years.

USA Equestrian Membership Director, Mary Henson, said, "The goal of the
membership staff is to make the renewal process easier for members and one
way of doing this is to get renewals to them sooner. Another benefit that
has become available for members is the online renewing process. The
Information Technology department has again done an excellent job in
designing and implementing the online process to make it a simple step for
renewing." Instructions for renewing online are included on the 2002
renewal form.

USA Equestrian Inc., as the National Equestrian Federation of the U.S., is the regulatory body for the Olympic and World Championship sports of dressage, driving, endurance, eventing, reining, show jumping, and vaulting, as well as 19 other breeds and disciplines of equestrian competition. As the country's largest multi-breed organization, the Federation has over 77,000 members and recognizes more than 2,800 competitions nationwide each year. It governs all aspects of competition, including educating and licensing all judges, stewards, and technical delegates who officiate at these shows.
