A bumper weekend for horse and pony enthusiasts

With demonstrations from stars such as Burghley champion Andrew Nicholson, show jumpers Graham and Tina Fletcher and international dressage rider Kyra Kyrklund, the 2000 British Equine Event looks set to bring more than 15,000 visitors to Stoneleigh in Warwickshire over the weekend 4/5 November.

The event gives riders the chance to learn more about horse care and training as well as find out about sports such as endurance and western riding.

Among the other attractions are displays of breeds, advice on routine veterinary matters and discussions on topics as diverse as long-distance travel and the impact of litigation on equestrianism.

Now in its 10^th year, the British Equine Event offers advice and information on everything for the horse and rider and features over 300 stands covering feed, veterinary products, stabling, the internet, transport and saddlery.

David Storrar, Director of Exhibitions for the event organisers, the Royal Agricultural Society of England, says, "The British Equine Event has become the place for horse owners and riders to brush up on their knowledge, get advice from the stars and catch up with plenty of horsey shopping!"
