horse Olympic trial at Burghley, PERA needs your views...

The new Olympic format trialled at Burghley has drawn out a very mixed response, and as a result PERA is eager to obtain your opinions and ideas on this topical subject.

So therefore what did you think?
How successful do you feel the trial was as a rider, or as a spectator?
Does this format influence the phase too much?
Does it now put too much weighting on the show-jumping?
Should the scoring system therefore be changed as a result? If so, how?
Should the format be consistent and used across the board; i.e. be used not only at the Games, but at Championships as well?
What are the alternatives?
How do you see your sport changing?
How would you like it to change?

Get your views across by either emailing peraworld@hotmail.com, or by posting your points on the new PERA Discussion Forum which can now be found on the left hand menu of the peraworld.com homepage.

Don't sit on the fence - we need to hear from you to represent you!!
