Dengie are delighted to announce their support of the British Heavy Horse Driving Trial team. The team are taking part in “La Route Du Poisson” (The Fish Race) 28,29,30th September. Each team uses 10 pairs of heavy horse from Boulogne to Paris. The British horses being used are Percherons, Ardennes, Suffolk Punch and Shires, weighing between 800 and 900 kilos! The British team is one of sixteen teams taking part. The race finishes at the Hippodrome Vincennes, the Trotting racetrack and coincides with The French National Day of The Horse.

Dengie are supplying feed and supplements during September.

Dengie’s area managers Lucy Sweeting and Clare Smith have visited all the teams, and whilst formulating rations spent some time driving a team of Suffolk Punches.
