Irish Sport Horses are winners at Millstreet

At the Millstreet Show in Cork last weekend, August 15th to 17th, Saturdays 1m50 Millstreet Derby class was won by Laughton Lass (ISH) ridden by Lt. Shane Carey (IRL) while Sundays Boomerang Finder Championship final brought first place for Welcome Captain (ISH) and his rider, Gabriel Slattery (IRL).

At the Hickstead Derby CSI 4*, the Osborne Refridgerators Derby Trial 1m60 class was won by Cullawn Diamond (ISH), ridden by J. Annett (GBR).

Further afield, at the Valkenswaard CSI 5* in the Netherlands (August 14th- 17th), Royal Charmer (ISH) ridden by Markus Fuchs (SUI) won Saturdays 1m45
Eurocommerce Prix class. Also competing at Valkenswaard were Quick Flash (ISH), ridden by Samantha McIntosh (BUL) to take third in Fridays Gestut am Schalsee 1m40 class and Katie Riddle (ISH), ridden by Lars Nieberg (GER), to come third in Saturdays 1m50 Valkenswaard Derby.

In Italy, at the Cervia CSI 1*, the Grand Prix class last Sunday found Windgates Illusion (ISH) ridden by G. Martinengo jump a double clear to come fourth.
Finally, at the Santo Domingo (DOM) Pan American Games, August 13th to 16th, Bohemio (ISH) ridden by Frederico Fernandez (MEX) was on the silver medal
winning Mexican team and finished fifth overall in the individual placings.
