East Dorset, VT—July 31, 2002—The fourth of five $35,000 Grand Prix events of the Vermont Summer Festival Horse Show to be held on Sunday, August 4th is being sponsored by Bruce Chovnick LLC of Brookeville, MD. The company is involved in the business of breeding, investing and selling horses.

Chovnick rides with the Rolling Acres Farm which has traveled to East Dorset for the final three weeks of the Vermont Summer Festival. They’ve come with 48 horses and nearly 60 riders, trainers and support crew; a team that also includes his twelve year old daughter, Sarah Chovnick, who has been circuit champion for three years.

“If you’re going to be spending time on the summer show circuit, this is about as good a place to be as anywhere,” enthused Chovnick. “We all enjoy the pace here, and I personally feel that it’s a great development show for young horses and riders,” he added.

Bruce Chovnick LLC is also the owner of the Graf Rossini S, the horse Mary Lisa Leffler rode to win the fifth of last year’s $35,000 Vermont Summer Festival Grand Prix events. The horse has placed in the top 5 multiple times this year including 1st place at the $25,000 Rockbridge Grand Prix and 4th in the $100,000 Keswick Charity Grand Prix. Graf Rossini S claimed nearly $100,000 in prize money in 2001, and is on course to exceed that amount for the 2002 season.
