O'Connor Reigns Supreme At Over The Walls

David O'Connor, 2000 Olympic Gold Medalist, riding the Jacqueline Mars owned Giltedge (Glen Bar - Kitty), beat out Kim Vinoski and Winsome Adante (Saunter - Jus With Genoa, by Bohemond xx) in a closely contested race, to win the Jack Le Goff Trophy for the USA Advanced-Level Horse Trial Championship, held at the Over the Walls Horse Trials in Hardwick, Massachusetts, August 2-4, 2002.

Championship results (through 10th place) follow:
* Champion - David O'Connor with Giltedge (Glen Bar - Kitty) 16-year-old, Irish Sport Horse gelding
* Second place - Kim Vinoski with Winsome Adante (Saunter - Jus With Genoa, by Bohemond xx) English Thoroughbred gelding
* Third place - Darren Chiacchia with Windfall
* Fourth place - Karen O'Connor with Regal Scot (King Delamere - Highland Belle, by Vice Regal) 13-year-old, Thoroughbred gelding
* Fifth place - Heidi White with Northern Spy (All Fair x Lavender Fair VII) 9-year-old Thoroughbred cross gelding
* Sixth place - Will Faudree with Antigua (Match Winner - Great Mistake, by Dorset) 13-year-old, Australian Thoroughbred gelding
* Seventh place - Robert Costello with Dalliance
* Eighth place - Adrienne Iorio-Borden with Show of Heart (It's Freezing - Lovely Duckling, by Quack) 12-year-old, Thoroughbred gelding
* Ninth place - Beale Morris with Eastern Shore (Fair Skies - Lowlights, by Believe the Queen) 10-year-old, Thoroughbred gelding
* Tenth place - John Williams with Carrick (Cozy's Commander x War Issue, by Northern Mystic) 10-year-old, Canadian Sport Horse
