Ticket and Travel Packages Available for Budweiser
Show Jumping World Cup Final

Las Vegas, NV—July 31, 2002—A wide variety of ticket packages is available for the 2003 Budweiser Show Jumping World Cup Final.

The 25th annual FEI Show Jumping World Cup Final will take place at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, April 16-20, 2003. This will be the fifth World Cup Final held in the United States. Previous Finals were held in Baltimore (1980), Tampa (1989), Del Mar (1992) and Las Vegas (2000).

In 2000, nearly 36,000 spectators got the chance to see the brightest American stars face-off against their top rivals from around the world in a setting known as “The Entertainment Capital of the World.” Brazilian superstar Rodrigo Pessoa thrilled the huge crowds with spectacular riding performances on his way to winning his third consecutive World Cup championship.

For the avid spectator planning to attend the 2003 Final, All-Session packages are the best choice. All Session packages include tickets for the warm-up competition on Wednesday evening; the first leg, the speed class, of the World Cup on Thursday evening; the second leg, a time first jump-off, on Friday evening; the Grand Prix of Las Vegas on Saturday afternoon; and the third and exciting two-round leg of the World Cup on Sunday afternoon, after which the new World Cup champion will be crowned.

All-Session packages are available in Plaza Level Priority Seating for $300 per person or Balcony Level Priority Seating for $150 per person. Exclusive VIP Packages are also available for $1,000 and include one premier All-Session seat, access to the private VIP hospitality area complete with complimentary deluxe food/beverage each day, and preferred parking. For those wanting to sample one or more of the sessions, daily individual tickets for each of the five days of competition range from $10 to $85 depending on the seating and the session.

"Due to the tremendous success of the 2000 World Cup Final in Las Vegas, we have a hot ticket on our hands for 2003," said Budweiser World Cup Chairman Robert Maxey. "Nine months out, ticket sales are 400% ahead of last time. Those who were there in 2000 want to be sure not to miss out on this World Cup's excitement and they're all booking early. To be sure of good seats, everyone planning to join us in April 2003 should do the same."

In 2000, Las Vegas Events, Inc., organizer of the Budweiser World Cup, presented show jumping as it’s never been seen before. Laser light shows, fast-paced entertainment acts, rider competitions, and big-name performers with the Las Vegas show girls made the Budweiser World Cup 2000 the greatest World Cup ever produced. Those traveling to Las Vegas for the Budweiser World Cup 2003 can be sure of an even more-dazzling event.

With 32 million people visiting Las Vegas each year, airfare and accommodation options are in abundance. Vacation packages to fit every budget and lifestyle are available. Lodging options range from grand Las Vegas hotels such as the MGM, Mirage, Bellagio, Mandalay Bay or Luxor, to weekly condominium rentals, to quaint and charming Bed and Breakfasts. Packages range from all-inclusive to custom-designed. Visitors can also make arrangements to enjoy the “Glitz and Glitter” that is Las Vegas—fine dining, shopping, world-famous theatrical shows, and, of course, gambling.
