Condon, Cappaquin, Co. Waterford won the Individual Bronze Medal
for Ireland at the European Pony Championships, Lanaken, Belgium
today (Friday)
with his pony Another Riot.
Andrew
Ryan, Newmarket-on-Fergus, Co. Clare was 4th with his pony Barry's
Beauty and just missed out on the medals.
Great
Britain took Gold and Silver Medal positions. Ireland are hopeful
for the European Team Championship on Sunday. The team consists
of Andrew Ryan, Co. Clare; Anthony Condon, Waterford; Mark McAuley,
Dundalk; and Heather Purcell, Kilkenny.
