Pit Pony Meets the Queen

Pit Pony "Bob" has been invited to meet the Queen when she
visits Wales on June 13th. Bob will be waiting to meet her when she
visits the Rhondda Heritage Park the Colliery museum that now stands
on the site of the Lewis Merthyr Colliery where Pit Ponies lived and
died in the underground tunnels of the old workings. For this special
occasion Bob is getting all spruced up and looking his best to meet
the Queen on behalf of all the Pit Ponies.
