Irish Riders 3rd & 6th In Intermediare 1
Dressage - Lipica CDI*** Slovenia - 8th June 2002
Irish riders Heike Holstein and Judy Reynolds continued their good
run of form at the Lipica CDI*** in Slovenia today (Saturday 8th June
2002) by placing 3rd and
6th respectively in the Intermediare 1 class.
Senior rider Heike Holstein scored 64.75% with Burgfraulein to place
third behind Barabara Peter of Germany and Austrian Mag Karl Kuprian.
Young rider Judy Reynolds from Naas, Co Kildare placed sixth with
her Danish bred gelding Saturday Night. Reynolds achievement is all
the more remarkable as she sat her final university exams
in Ireland only last Saturday and this was followed by a quick celebration
of her twenty first birthday before flying out on Monday to join up
with Heike Holstein. Reynolds is aiming to represent Ireland at the
European Young Riders Dressage Championships next month.
