IRISH RIDERS CRANK UP FOR ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL SEASON AS MARSHALL MAKES IT A HAT TRICK AT MODENA

Just like last season, when Irish show jumpers signalled their serious intentions in the Spring - and then went on to win the Samsung Nations Cup - our riders are again racking up wins in the big early international shows throughout Europe.

Harry Marshall has now scored three decisive victories in the CSI-A competition at Modena, to add to his tally of two wins at Parabiago CSI-C just ten days ago.

Ireland's Cian O'Connor scored his first win at Modena CSI-A on Sunday with a First Place in the Speed Class, riding <Kala>.

Conor Swail has had two class victories at Modena, with another in Parabiago, while down in Monte Carlo Ireland's Jessica Kurten took First in the coveted Aegon Masters competition, and won a Peugeot car in the process, despite suffering from a virus that took her out of the show the following day.

In Maubeuge, France, meanwhile, Irish riders Dermott Lennon, Billy Twomey, Robert Power,Edward Doyle and Peter Charles are hovering in the Top Ten placings.
