New “Schooling Field Summer Series” Horse Shows To Be Held at the Schooling Field in South Hamilton

South Hamilton, MA—March 8, 2004--President of the Fidelity Investments Jumper Classic, Melissa Lovasco, has announced that a new series of three horse shows, the Schooling Field Summer Series, will be held on the Grand Prix Field at the Schooling Field in South Hamilton, MA in 2004. The shows are scheduled for Wednesday, June 23, Wednesday, July 21, and Wednesday, August 11. The Series is rated by the United States Equestrian Federation, the New England Horseman’s Council, and the Massachusetts Horseman’s Council.

The shows will feature classes for Level 1, 3, and 4 jumpers, as well as equitation classes for juniors and adults, including USEF Medal, ASPCA Maclay, State Line Tack Children’s and Adult Medal, MHC Junior and Adult Medal, and NEHC Junior and Adult Medal.

In addition the top eight riders from the last Level 4 Jumper Class at each of the three shows will qualify for a Level 4 Final to be held on Thursday, September 9 at the Fidelity Jumper Classic.

“We wanted to offer shows in the middle of the week that would be low stress and fun,” said Manager of the Series, Peggy Lynch. “It’s a great way for local riders to practice out on the field and enjoy the good footing.”

With an array of classes for all levels, the top notch show grounds of the Jumper Classic, and wonderful prizes, the Series will certainly be a draw for area riders and trainers.
