United States Equestrian Team Announces East Coast League Riders For Show Jumping World Cup Final

Gladstone, NJ—March 27, 2003—The United States Equestrian Team (USET) has announced the 8 U.S. East Coast League riders who have qualified to compete in Budweiser World Cup 2003, April 16-20, in Las Vegas, NV. The riders earned the right to compete at the Final by being the top finishers in the U.S. East Coast League. The riders are:

In addition to these 8 riders, the United States will also be represented by six other riders. Richard Spooner of Burbank, CA; Nicole and Will Simpson of Westlake Village, CA; and John French of Menlo Park, CA have qualified from the U.S. West Coast League. Peter Wylde, the individual Bronze Medalist in the Show Jumping World Championships at the 2002 World Equestrian Games has been granted a Wild Card spot and Robert Chelberg, an American living in Maastricht, The Netherlands, qualified from the Central European League.
