Stars come out for All The Queen’s Horses An all-star cast will be the voices of ‘All The Queen’s Horses’ - Britain’s biggest outdoor theatrical performance to be staged in celebration of Her Majesty The Queen’s Jubilee year on 16th -18th May 2002.

Robert Hardy, Sir Derek Jacobi, Prunella Scales and Edward Woodward are to be star readers during the 12 acts of this unique Equestrian Extravaganza. With their world-famous voices they will bring to life an imaginative variety of characters.

Robert Hardy has written and presented documentaries on Henry V and his numerous television appearances include Elizabeth R and Edward VII. Film roles include the well-received “Sense and Sensibility” (1995) and “Mary Shelly’s Frankenstein” (1994) but he is still probably best remembered as the kindly Seigfried in the Sunday night TV serialisation of James Herriot’s famous books “All Creatures Great and Small”.
One of Britain’s finest Shakespearian actors renowned for his royal roles, Sir Derek Jacobi became a household name with the popular TV series “I Claudius” and “Cadfael”.
Prunella Scales memorably played HM The Queen in Alan Bennett’s “A Question of Attribution” and was immortalised as the domineering Sybil in the 1970s cult TV series “Fawlty Towers”.
With the regal forenames of Edward Albert Arthur, Edward Woodward won international attention in the title role of Bruce Beresford's "Breaker Morant" (1980). Perhaps his best- known TV role was as retired secret agent Robert McCall in "The Equalizer" during the 1980s.
All The Queen’s Horses will recreate Her Majesty The Queen’s finest equestrian occasions, including the 1953 Coronation Procession with the magnificent Gold State Coach, in a night-time theatrical spectacular of dramatic proportions, set against the magnificent backdrop of the floodlit Windsor Castle. The inimitable show has an enormous cast of 1,000 horses, 2,000 participants, a 150 voice choir, a 75 piece orchestra, dancers and actors.
