Halcyon
Days for All The Queen’s Horses
The first major
tribute to The Queen in her Golden Jubilee year is the spectacular
equestrian event All The Queen’s Horses, to be hosted at Royal
Windsor Horse Show during the evenings of 16th, 17th and 18th May
2002. To commemorate this splendid occasion, Halcyon Days, the world’s
famous creator of enamels and objets d’art, has designed two
exquisite enamel boxes.
The
first is a delicate pale blue and gold, round memento box (3.5cm
in diameter), bearing the prestigious ‘mark’ of the event
and priced at £68. Production of these boxes will cease at
the end of June 2002.

The
second is a magnificent, oval box (7cm long) finely illustrated
with a selection of Royal scenes portraying The Queen with the late
Princess Margaret in Queen Victoria’s phaeton,Prince Philip
carriage driving, Prince Charles playing polo, Princess Anne eventing
and a racing scene with The Queen’s colours. The base features
the Gold State Coach and Windsor Castle. The special ‘mark’
is displayed inside the lid. It is priced at £175. A limited
edition of just 500 of these boxes will be produced.

inscription ‘All the Queen’s Horses, a Golden Jubilee Tribute
to Her Majesty The Queen, 16th-18th May 2002’.
