Show Jumping Selection Procedures for Athens Olympic Games
Now Available on USEF Website

Gladstone, New Jersey—February 2, 2004—The United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) has announced that the show jumping selection procedures for this summer’s Olympic Games are now available by visiting the USEF’s website at www.usef.org and clicking on “High Performance”.

The 2004 Olympic Games will take place in Athens, Greece, August 13-29. The show jumping competition will be held August 22-27.

The Show Jumping Selection Trials will take place in Del Mar and San Juan Capistrano, CA, May 14, 15, 22 and 23. Horse-and-rider combinations wishing to compete in Show Jumping Selection Trials for the 2004 Olympic Games must qualify by achieving a performance standard in one or more USEF and/or Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI) qualifying classes. Information about the selection trials, qualifiers and the full selection procedure is available on the USEF website or by contacting Mrs. Sally Ike, Director of Show Jumping, at (908) 234-0848, extension 11 or at sally.ike@usef.org .
