Rachel, founder of Equine Legal Solutions, Inc., based in San Jose, CA, has joined the www.horsecoursesonline.com faculty. Her course is being offered by Austin Education Center and Scottsdale Community College. Students completing the course receive a certificate of recognition, and credit toward a Professional Designation in Horse Training or a Horse Sense Success Series Certificate.

A graduate of Duke University School of Law, Rachel worked with major law firms in New York and California, and was in-house attorney for a Fortune 100 company just prior to forming Equine Legal Solutions, a full-service firm serving the needs of the horse community. Services include customized contracts, risk management and dispute resolution. She is a member of both the California and New York bars.

Growing up on a horse farm in Tipp City, OH, Rachel was a 4-H member and competed in nearly every discipline at Appaloosa, Quarter horse and hunter/jumper shows. She is a member of the American Paint Horse Association, the American Quarter Horse Association and the American Association for Horsemanship Safety. She wants to devote some of her time to being a 4-H leader in her community.

Although Rachel enjoys trail riding with husband Erin, her competitive spirit keeps her jumping obstacles at regional shows with her young APHA gelding, ZW Cut to the Chase.
