Pony Club Camp - Own a Pony for a Week BHS Approved

Residential Pony Club Camp here at Mitchelswood Farm is an opportunity to experience what it is really like to look after a pony of your own. Each child is allocated one of our own horses to suit their size and standard and they are responsible for everything it needs, from morning to night!

Throughout the week pupils will learn about cross country riding, show jumping, flatwork and hacking out on the local lanes and bridleways. Instructed riding lessons are twice a day, plus yard routines and structured stable management classes working towards a variety of Pony Club Achievement Badges.

Children sleep in friendly little tents, inside a big tent, on the lawn adjacent to the main house. Games and activities are organised after yard duties and supper. Indoor facilities include a table tennis table and a 42' heated swimming pool.

Breakfast with Stella

All meals are included and often taken outside. There is a Tuck Shop daily.

All riding, yard and recreational activities are fully supervised. On the last day, there is a riding display for the Parents and Prize Giving. (4pm)

Courses, Easter & Summer Holidays: Monday 10am, to Friday 5pm: £250 .
Weekends: 4pm Friday - 6pm Sunday. £145

8 - 16 years. Girls only (boys only will be arranged)
