BETA Show Voucher Support

IS your Riding Club organising a show and looking for support?

Help is on hand from BETA, The British Equestrian Trade Association through its Retailer Support Scheme.

The scheme is aimed at providing assistance for Retail Members to generate more business whilst also encouraging the sport to work with their local suppliers.

Prize vouchers are provided for sponsorship of individual classes for up to a total value of £25 per class and can be redeemed in any BETA Retail Member shop.

The total value of the prize for the class can be divided into smaller denominations but it is up to the retailer awarding the vouchers to decide on the break down of the value.

BETA Chief Executive and Secretary Claire Williams said: "We have vouchers available which are ideal for extra prizes at shows and events. Retailers are limited though on the number of vouchers they can apply for so organisers are advised to talk to their local retailers early in the season.

"Anyone organising a show and looking for sponsorship should ask at their local retailers to see if they are a member of BETA. If they are then it is worth approaching them to discuss the benefits of sponsorship for both of you and the shop can then apply for show vouchers to assist in supporting the event."

In addition to the vouchers, the recipients receive a certificate with the shop's name and address on it as the sponsoring company.

In order to take advantage of the voucher scheme, you must go through your local retailer who will contact BETA requesting the vouchers. It is also advisable to agree the class you want sponsoring first.
