horse King's Troop Protected by Armadillo

The Kings Troop Royal Horse Artillery now use Armadillo's i2 Tendon Boots. These tough yet flexible boots are being used on all their horses for Galloping Salutes in Hyde Park, and Musical Drives at many shows throughout the summer.

Having rigorously tested many different tendon boots The Kings Troop RHA finally chose Armadillo.
'When choosing a tendon boot for our horses, we where looking for a very tough product that will give us value for money but also lessen the risk of tendon injuries to our horses.'

The i2 Tendon boot has a tough yet flexible outer layer that is almost completely cut- proof, reducing the risk of tendon injury from a high overreach.

Any strike on the boot will not be able to cut through the tough outer layer, the force of the blow will be absorbed by the textured inner layer, which is tested to absorb 99% of the force of any impact on the boot.

This unique deep-textured inner layer allows air to circulate and ensures that any dirt falls into the gaps thus preventing a rub. The Kings Troop found the Tendon Boots,
'Particularly useful when used on surfaces that through up grit which is the case on the training surface at Wormword Scrubs'

The Kings Troop have found that the i2 Tendon Boots have proven effective in minimising impact injuries that have been prevalent in ride and drive activities.
