Festival Of Champions/Dressage Olympic Selection Trials Set For San Juan Capistrano

WELLINGTON, FL – April 22, 2004 – The Bayer/USET Foundation Festival of Champions Presented by State Line Tack featuring the 2004 Dressage Olympic Selection Trials, USEF Grand Prix Championships, and USEF Intermediaire Championships will be held June 12-13 and June 18-20, 2004, at Oaks Blenheim Exhibitions in San Juan Capistrano, CA.

The schedule of competitions is as follows:

First Weekend – June 12-13
Saturday, June 12 Selection Trial #1 - Grand Prix

Sunday, June 13 Selection Trial #2 - Grand Prix Special

Second Weekend – June 18-20
Friday, June 18 Prix St. Georges

Saturday, June 19 Intermediaire I

Selection Trial #3 - Grand Prix

Sunday, June 20 Intermediaire I Freestyle

Selection Trial #4 - Grand Prix Freestyle

Celebrate With The Champions
A highlight of this year’s Festival of Champions is the USET Foundation Fundraising Party on Saturday, June 19, entitled “Celebrate with the Champions.” This California Fiesta will feature strolling mariachis, a delicious dinner, margaritas, silent auction, fabulous fun, and the Debbie McDonald Auction Package. Also featured at the Oaks Blenheim venue for the two weekends are a Beer and Wine Garden, Instant Scoring, Dressage with the Experts, a Trade Fair, Silent Auction, and an exhibition featuring João Oliveira, son of the celebrated Portuguese “Master” Nuno Oliveira, presenting Robinson Lusitanos on June 19 and 20.

Sign-up Early – there is a15% discount if tickets are purchased by May 12. (Does not apply to VIP tables.) Limited VIP Seating – Sign-up early to ensure your table. Deadline is June 8.

Gold – View from the Tent. Includes three VIP Parking Passes. Gourmet Luncheon on second weekend and Beverages. Table seating for six. $2500.

Silver – VIP Umbrella Tables. Includes one VIP Parking Pass. Hors d'oeuvres on second weekend. Table seating for six. $1400.

Bronze – Bleacher Seating per day: Saturday, June 12 - $25; Sunday, June 13 - $25; Friday, June 18 - $25; Saturday, June 19 - $60; or Sunday, June 20 - $75. For all five days: $150. For second weekend only, June 18, 19, 20: $110.
