horse Carling King (ISH) Second in Palm Beach AGA Championship

Regularly competing successfully on the US circuit, Carling King (ISH) and his Pennsylvania based Irish rider Kevin Babington took second place in the $150,000 AGA Championship class at Palm Beach, Florida last Sunday, April 6th.

Back in Europe, the Moorsele, Belgium CSI** last weekend (April 4th to 6th) saw Quick Flash (ISH) and Samantha McIntosh (BUL) take third place in Saturdays 1m35 class. Also competing at Moorsele was A Touch of Romance (ISH) ridden by Karim Ahmed El Zoghby (EGY). This pairing took second place in Saturdays 1m40 class.

Irish Sport Horses are also competing successfully in Peru. Over the weekend of April 1st, Marlton Ranger (ISH) was ridden by Ileana Miro Quesada to win both Saturday and Sundays main category A classes at CICO, Club Hipico Peruano. Marlton Ranger was Category B National Champion last year.

Marlton Ranger ~ 1992 Irish Sport gelding by Master Imp (TB), out of Red Diamond (AID), by King Of Diamonds (RID), bred by Marlton Stud, Marlton House, Wicklow.
