horse Southern States Named as Official Feed Partner for 2003 HITS Ocala Winter Circuit

SAUGERTIES, NY (January 23, 2003)--Horse Shows In The Sun (HITS) is proud to welcome Southern States and its equine feeds--Legends and Triple Crown--as the Official Feed Partner for the 2003 HITS Ocala Winter Circuit.

Southern States, now in its 80th year, offers everything for the horse owner, including specialized equine feeds, tack, and animal health products such as dewormers and grooming supplies. As a member of Cooperative Research Farms, the largest group of privately owned research farms anywhere in the world, Southern States is able to incorporate the very latest technical advances in its premier lines of Legends and Triple Crown feeds. These feeds are available exclusively from Southern States and Agway dealers in 23 states stretching from the Canadian border to the Gulf of Mexico.

During the Ocala Winter Circuit, HITS exhibitors will be able to treat their horses to Legends and Triple Crown premium feeds. To ensure the highest quality feed, Southern States tests the nutritional content of all ingredients and makes sure that they are free from contaminants. The result is a superior feed in both formulation and manufacture that incorporates important elements not found in most other feeds.

"We are delighted to partner with HITS for the 2003 Ocala Winter Circuit," said Dr. Marty Adams, Southern States' equine nutritionist. "At Southern States, we pride ourselves on the quality of our feed products. We understand that HITS exhibitors care about the health and performance of their horses, and we are pleased to supply them with quality feeds that promote health and deliver superior care."

HITS is the largest producer of hunter/jumper horse shows in the U.S., operating five show grounds nationwide-the Indio Desert Circuit in California; Ocala Winter Circuit in Florida; Arizona Winter Circuit in Tucson; HITS Culpeper in Virginia; and HITS Catskills in New York. In the fall of 2003, HITS will introduce the New Marshall & Sterling League National Indoor Finals to be held at Worcester's Centrum Centre, Worcester, Massachusetts.
