Boulet, APHA put hard work to the test at World Show

FORT WORTH, Texas-Hard-working Paint Horse owners know the importance of a durable boot, which is why Boulet and the American Paint Horse Association (APHA) are a perfect match.

Boulet Western Boots, which has been in business for three generations, has agreed to partner with the APHA in support of this year's World Championship Paint Horse for the second year in a row.

The company, based in Saint Tite, Canada, produces some of the highest quality footwear for customers who are heavily involved in the ranching and horse business.

"Our realization is that the people we are making boots for are those who live the Western lifestyle," said Andy Rees, regional sales manager for the United States. "That's why our boots continue to get better. The people who buy our boots really use them."

Rees stressed that teaming up with APHA has given credibility to Boulet because its members know good quality and use the boots for their intended purpose-hard work.

Also, Boulet has remained a family company throughout its 70 years, much like APHA. This has allowed the company to continuously improve on its products and not sacrifice quality for cost savings, Rees said.

"APHA's members are keenly aware of quality in the products they use with their Paint Horses, whether its ranching or riding, and Boulet sets the standard for the kind of product they like to use," said APHA Executive Secretary Jim Kelley. "We're proud to have them be a part of our World Show again this year."
