Irish Horse Board Spring Stallion Inspections

The Irish Horse Board Spring stallion inspections were held in Cavan Horse Marketing Centre from Monday 8th March to Thursday 11th March and again on Monday 15th March.
A total of 66 stallions were presented for inspection and 20 stallions were selected for performance testing.
The following gives a breakdown of the breeds of stallions inspected and selected for performance testing:
*With full pedigree recorded that are were eligible for selection for performance testing A number of other Irish Sport Horses with full or partial pedigree were also inspected. These stallions were not eligible for performance testing.

THROUGHBREDS
Two thoroughbred stallions were inspected and both were approved subject to x-rays taken at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in UCD.

RIDING PONY
One Riding Pony was approved:
