You can ride the trails, hike the mountains, fish the river, explore the caves, and view wildlife along the way. We customize your horseback adventure to your needs. Whether a weekend getaway, or backcountry pack trip over several days... we accommodate up to 20 people at the main lodge. In an endeavor to maintain a low impact on the environment, we limit our pack trip group size to 8 guests.



We supply horses and tack; clean, comfortable cabins a hot shower room; and hearty home-cooked meals and warm hospitality.



We take pride in our horses. They are reliable and of good, sound stock. These horses are used for hunting in the fall, riding lessons in the spring, and backcountry pack trips during the summer.

My husband and I started Adventure Rides Inc. offering horseback riding vacations worldwide because I have always loved horses, meeting new people and going new places. This combines everything I have always loved and hope to bring customers the vacation of a lifetime. I have been riding horses my whole life so horses have been a major influence in my life ever since I could walk.

Naturally when I got married my husband, Steve, quickly figured out he better learn to ride horses if he wanted to see me much. Luckily he has learned to love riding as well. It helps that we live in the mountains of Colorado so there are a lot of places for him to trail ride while I practice my dressage and jumping.
