Seabiscuit Hero On GLC

American Thoroughbred Products Ltd have an unusual interest in the recently released film, Seabiscuit. They are the UK distributors for GLC5500, the equine version of the amazing product that enabled Hall of Fame Jockey, Gary Stevens, to come out of retirement to race again and to play the part of jockey George Woolf in the film.

Gary Stevens was forced to retire from racing in 1999 due to arthritic damage to his knee. The doctors told him he had run out of options and even everyday activities caused him pain. None of the products or therapies he tried had any effect. Then he tried GLC supplement.

Gary takes up the story, "After a few weeks I knew I had found a product that would make a difference. A short 10 months since the most difficult announcement of my life, I was back in the saddle riding world champions. Not only have I been able to come out of retirement, but I am able to play with my children and play a around of golf without pain".

In real life, Gary Stevens is a Hall of Fame Jockey, winner of 3 Kentucky Derbies, 3 Belmont Stakes, the Japan Cup, Dubai World Cut, Eclipse Award, 9 Breeders Cup Victories and the youngest jockey to acquire $100,000,000 in earnings. Now he is making his film debut as the equally famous jockey in his time, George Woolf.

Based in Kilmington, Wiltshire, American Thoroughbred Products Ltd have been supplying GLC5500, the equine version of the product used by Gary Stevens, for the past three years. "The results are equally good with horses", says Managing Director, Graham Cotton. "GLC5500 is powerful and makes a difference to horses of all types and ages. It is particularly useful at this time of year as the cold and wet winter months often exacerbate joint stiffness".

Local convert, Caroline O'Hara of New Priory Stud, says, "We have been feeding GLC5500 to our 5 dressage stallions, 3 of which are 17 years old, since December 2002 and we are delighted with the results. They are clearly more comfortable and have regained the natural joint flexibility they had as youngsters".

Graham Cotton adds, "I will certainly enjoy watching Seabiscuit, and it will be a pleasure to see Gary Stevens back in the saddle".
