Conley and Smith Win Eventing Championships

Sydney Conley, of Benton, LA, riding the 7-year-old mare, RAJA’S DAWN (Thoroughbred: Raja’s Best Boy – Swing Til Dark, by Swing Til Dawn) finished on their dressage score of 51.7 to win the USAE National Amateur Eventing Championship held at the Midsouth Three-Day Event in Lexington, KY, October 16 – 19.

Ashley Smith of Barrington Hills, IL, riding the 12-year-old gelding, HARVEST MOON (Hasty Loom – Moon’s Proner) added 4 show jumping penalties to their dressage score to finish with a total of 52.7 to win the USAE National Junior Eventing Championship, a USA Junior Olympic – Equestrian Event, also held during the Midsouth Three-Day Event.

4th – GOING GOING GONE (Irish Sport Horse) ridden by Jocelyn Hawe
5th – EXCALIBUR (Thoroughbred: Alibi Ike – Larkzen, by Zen; bred by James G. Stefek & Michael Irpino) ridden by Suzanne Panacek
6th – GABRIEL (Thoroughbred: Sez You – Haughty’s Smarty, by Jet Diplomacy; bred by Julia G. Hudson) ridden by Shannon Nave
7th – EIKAN TANGO (American Trakehner: Eikon- Tipsey Dancer) ridden by Danielle Williams
