Crowley Wins USAE National Two-Star Eventing Championship

Idalgo Wins National Young Horse Championship

Debi Crowley, of Elkmont, AL, riding the 10-year-old gelding, MIGHTY MITE (New Zealand Thoroughbred: For the Best – Cankerine) finished on their dressage score of 49.6 to win the USAE National Two-Star Eventing Championship held at the Radnor Hunt International Three-Day Event in Malvern, PA, October 9 – 12. Wendy Lewis and RAMPANT LION (Thoroughbred: Distinctive Pro - Paula Sue, by Restivo) finished in second place with a score of 50.00.

Idalgo (Hurlevent - Amour Du Placineau), the 7-year-old Selle Francais gelding ridden by Buck Davidson, finished 7th overall to capture the National Young Horse Championship. Idalgo is owned by Bruce Davidson and Janis Smith.

The top 10 overall finishers are as follows:

· 1st - MIGHTY MITE ridden by Debi Crowley
· 2nd - RAMPANT LION ridden by Wendy Lewis
· 3rd – BRINDABELLA (Australian Thoroughbred: Captain Piper– Lijone, by Limone (GB)) ridden by Phillip Dutton (AUS)

· 4th – SAN SALVADOR (Trakehner Cross: Butow – Something Emerald) ridden by Darren Chiacchia
· 5th – TOP DECK II ridden by Kerry Torrey Philhower
· 6th – MACKINAC ridden by Sara Davis
· 7th – IDALGO ridden by Buck Davidson
· 8th – STINA (Thoroughbred: Right of Light – Regent Doll) ridden by Bonnie Mosser
· 9th – THE TRACKER ridden by Paul Delbrook
· 10th - MR. FREEZE ridden by Katie Evans (CAN)
