Mary Bromiley, the esteemed equine and human physiotherapist is just one of several high profile speakers who will be contributing to The Association of British Riding Schools Annual Conference, to be held on 13th – 14th October 2003.

Open to both members and non members alike, the Conference is a crucial fixture on the events list of equestrian business professionals. It is renowned for combining topical and practical issues together with opportunities for the many attendees operating businesses in similar circumstances to enjoy refreshing informal discussions.

This year’s programme includes horse passports, riding holidays in Britain and business workshops as well as participation from a number of leading equestrian practitioners. Mary Bromiley will discuss ‘The rehabilitation of horse and rider’, while Richard Bacon, equine senior lecturer at Warwickshire College, will provide an insight into ‘The performance of UK riding schools’.

On the Tuesday attendees can enjoy demonstrations and discussions on the ethos and procedures of ABRS teaching qualifications, while the afternoon programme will comprise an exciting practical session on ‘teaching jumping in the riding school environment’ with Andy Austin the BSJA performance coach.
