RENWICK AND LAMPARD GET OLYMPIA CALL-UP


John Renwick and Di Lampard, 13th and 14th on the BSJA Riders Ranking List*, have been invited to compete at the forthcoming Olympia International Show Jumping Championships (19th-23rd December 2001) following a decision by the Organising Committee. The Committee has extended from 10 to 12 the number of British riders eligible to compete at the show plus the three Towerlands qualifiers**.

There will be ten performances at Olympia from Wednesday 19th December – Sunday 23rd December. The box office can be contacted on 0870 733 0733 or visit the website at www.olympiashowjumping.com. * The BSJA Riders Ranking List No. 232 lists Mr. P. Charles in 2nd Place and Mr. B. Twomey in 9th place. Both are Irish international riders hence the reason why the 12th British Rider is 14th on the Ranking List.

** Michael Whitaker, Scott Smith, Robert Smith, Tim Stockdale, John Whitaker, Andrew Davies, Damien Charles, Mark Armstrong, Veronique Whitaker, Nicky Boulter may bring 3 horses plus a Puissance horse, whilst John Renwick and Di Lampard and the three Towerlands qualifiers James Fisher, Alex Newsham and Lyn Van Heyningen may bring 2 horses plus a Puissance horse.
