USET Announces Vaulting Grants

Gladstone, NJ—September 10, 2003—In addition to $20,000 that the United States Equestrian Team (USET) Vaulting High Performance Committee previously allocated for a series of Training Camps, the USET is awarding $10,000 in grants in support of the vaulting discipline.

Three competition management grants are being awarded to promote 2003 USA Equestrian and FEI competitions in the U.S. to assist competition managers with the expenses associated with this type of competition. Grants, based on need and the ability to offer a superior competition, are awarded to:

Woodside Vaulters $500.00
CVI Saratoga $500.00

F.A.C.E. Off $500.00

Eight competition grants are being awarded to provide assistance to vaulters competing in 2003 USAE and/or CVIs in the United States. Grants, based on the potential/ability to represent the United States in international competition, are awarded to:

Mr. Blake Dahlgren $500.00
Mr. Kenny Geisler $500.00
Miss Pamela Geisler $500.00
Miss Ginny Kaufmann $500.00
Mr. Devon Maitozo $500.00
Miss Emily Gleason $250.00
Miss Leslie Hamar $250.00
Miss Olivia Swan $250.00

Four European grants are being awarded to provide assistance to vaulters and chefs d’equipe participating in 2003 European CVIs. Grants, based on the potential/ability to represent the United States in international competition, are awarded to:

Coast Line Vaulters $3000.00
Miss Ginny Kaufmann $750.00
Miss Briana Olsen $750.00
Miss Olivia Swan $750.00
