Gladstone, NJ—September 6, 2002— For those who cannot travel to Spain to witness the events first- hand, coverage of the World Equestrian Games will be available on the United States Equestrian Team (USET) website at www.uset.org. News will be posted on the USET website in conjunction with www.equisearch.com. Check the site daily for updates and news on all of the happenings during the World Equestrian Games, which will be held in Jerez, Spain, September 11-22.

Athletes from all seven disciplines – dressage, driving, endurance, eventing, reining, show jumping, and vaulting – are gearing up to travel overseas to represent the United States against some of the world’s fiercest competition. The USET media guide, which includes biographies and photos on all U.S. athletes as well as coaches, chefs d’equipe and team leaders, will be available on www.uset.org in the coming days leading up to the Games.

The United States Equestrian Team is a non-profit organization that selects, trains, equips and finances equestrians of the highest possible standard to represent our country in major international competition, including the Olympic Games and the World Championships. To accomplish this, the USET seeks out and nurtures the development of talented athletes - riders, drivers and horses - and provides the support and guidance they need to help them attain their fullest potential.
