Laity-D'Agostino and Dainer Win Dressage Seat Medal Finals

Kelsey Laity-D’Agostino and Jennifer Dainer topped their respective age divisions in the inaugural USAE Dressage Seat Medal Finals, hosted by the Northeast Junior/Young Rider Dressage Championships, August 15 – 17, in Darien, CT. Both winners were competing on borrowed horses.

The winners in each division will have their names inscribed on The Hart Perpetual Trophy. Kelsey Laity-D’Agostino received a saddle, donated by Amerigo, for having the overall highest score in the competition.

Competitors qualified for the Finals by winning either Champion or Reserve Champion in the semi-finals, held at each of the nine USDF Regional Championships last year. The Dressage Seat Medal Semi-Final classes will once again be held at this year’s Regional Championships, and will qualify the top two finishers in each Region for the 2004 Dressage Seat Medal Finals, to be held in Lexington, KY, in September 2004.
