The Ultimate Equine Experience National Tour Gets Underway

The national tour of the Ultimate Equine Experience - a series of unique and successful regional equine events - will soon be underway.

The tour starts with the Southern Equine and Country Fair (Royal Bath & West Showground, 25 and 26 October), and then travels to the Devon and Cornwall Christmas Equine Fair (Westpoint, Exeter, 22 and 23 November), the North of England Equine Fair (Great Yorkshire Showground, Harrogate, 29 and 30 November), the Scottish Christmas Equine Fair (Royal Highland Showground, Edinburgh, 6 and 7 December) and the Midlands Equine Fair (Three Counties Showground, Malvern, 13 and 14 March 2004).

Organised by Contour Exhibitions & Events Limited, the shows have a combined number of exhibitors of around 1300 and attract tens of thousands of visitors.

Each show is tailored to the requirements of the region in which it takes place, and includes a combination of arena displays and demonstrations (from well known names such as Mary Wanless, Gary Docking and David Burleigh Smith and display groups such as Chariots of Fire, the Mystic Horsemen and Side Arms), tips and advice from national experts and the ideal opportunity to shop in a dedicated Equine Shopping Village.

Sandra Turner, managing director of Contour Exhibitions & Events Limited, is confident that the next national tour of the Ultimate Equine Experience will be a success. She commented: "Our equine fairs are a great day out for all the family, and anyone who is a horse enthusiast. Each fair takes place under cover, and the displays, demonstrations and advice that we provide are all of a national or international calibre. Thousands of people visit and enjoy our shows each year, and I think that this year we have really excelled ourselves!"

The opening and closing times for each fair are 9.00am to 5.00pm on the Saturday and 9.00am to 5.00pm on the Sunday. Ticket costs are: Adults, £9.00; Under 16's £6; Under 5's free; OAP's £8.00; Family Ticket (two adults and two children) £25.00. Advance booking discounts are available.
