HorseTV Announces Expansion to C-Band, Cable and Independent Television Stations

HorseTV, the first regularly scheduled national programming for owners, riders, breeders and lovers of horses and equestrian sports, has expanded its television distribution to select cable systems and independent television stations throughout North America on America One Television, a 24/7 broadcast network which provides a variety of programming to millions of homes in the U.S. and Canada. The August 15th launch was also available "in-the-clear" to millions of C-Band dish owners.

Through America One's distribution, HorseTV is now available to television stations or cable systems in any community in America wishing to add equestrian and horse-oriented programming to its broadcast lineup. Distributed as two-hour time blocks, HorseTV can be seen on America One at 9:00 pm, EST on Wednesday evenings, and Sundays at 6:00 pm EST, and will be expanding to multiple week nights and Sundays in late September.

HorseTV provides a wide variety of educational, instructional, veterinary, documentary, and show and event programming covering many disciplines. Combining stunning documentary specials with entertaining and informative segments on every aspect of owning, riding or loving horses, HorseTV appeals not only to the millions of viewers with recreational or professional interest in horses, but also that vast audience which simply relates to the romance and mystery of the horse.

America One (www.AmericaOne.com) is one of the few broadcast networks which also provides a full 24/7 live webcast of its programming through both high speed broadband and dial up connections, making HorseTV available to anyone in the world via the Internet.

Since its launch on January 1, 2001, HorseTV has provided 70+ hours per week of equestrian and horse-oriented programming through a public access channel carried on the DISH Satellite Network, and the expansion and transition to full commercial distribution through America One is a major step in its goal to provide equestrian programming to horse people throughout North America.

Program descriptions, schedules, and information on how to find HorseTV in a local area, or to assist in getting HorseTV carried on a local television station or cable system is posted on thewww.horse-tv.com website.

Equestrian associations, clubs, production companies and individuals interested in obtaining broadcast time, those with existing programming or who are interested in creating new television programs, are encouraged to contact HorseTV at their earliest convenience. Advertising and sponsorship opportunities are available at the national, regional and local levels.

Equestrian Vision USA, of Houston, is managing partner of the HorseTV Joint Venture, which includes America One Television, a property of U.S. Farm and Ranch Supply Co., Inc., of Houston, Texas, Cowboys and Indians Magazine and Western & English Today,
