Jumping - Kurten Wins At Geesteren

IT
has been a winning weekend so far for the Irish in Europe. Jessica
Kurten took the total wins to four when she snatched the Eurocommerce
Prize from Holland's Piet Raymakers and British ace John Whitaker
at Geesteren, Netherlands, today (Saturday).
Riding
her eight year-old bay mare <Castle Forbes Libertina> Kurten,
shortlisted for the Athens Olympics, shaded Raymakers by just a
tenth of a second, but it was good enough to take the prize.
Earlier
at Geesteren, Ireland's Dermott Lennon had taken the 1m 40 speed
class, while at Falsterbo, Sweden, 24 yr-old Cian O'Connor added
a 7 yr-old class win today to his speed class win on Thursday.
