World
Class Riders Wear Exclusive UK Sport Label

The
equestrian World Class Performance squad were presented with sports
clothing and kit courtesy of UK Sport this week.

The
red, white and blue clothing features an exclusive "winning
horse and rider" logo designed by UK Sport especially
for the Lottery funded equestrian squad
Elite
British athletes from all the sporting World Class programmes
will wear the unique clothing at high profile sporting events
this summer.
The
members of the eventing, show jumping, dressage and paralympic
dressage squads were each presented with a kit bag, water
bottle, towel, polo shirts, jogging trousers, fleece top and
shower proof blouson jacket, all in a smart, striking UK Sport
design.

The
British Equestrian Team, along with the Performance Managers and
the World Class Performance Director, will wear the new clothing
at the World Equestrian Games (10-22 September, Jerez). In fact,
the Chef De Mission, Matt Straker, is so pleased with the sharp,
sporty image that the rest of the British team and support staff
will also sport similar white, red and blue polo shirts at the Games.
