During her twenty-four years of practice, Ms. Goodman has obtained a national reputation as a leading trial attorney in product liability, construction defect and class action litigation. For the last nine years and while a partner at Dinsmore & Shohl LLP, Ms. Goodman has been national coordinating counsel for one of the world's largest insurance companies and has successfully litigated and managed hundreds of such lawsuits nationwide. “The USEF is very fortunate to have an attorney with Ms. Goodman’s extensive national experience to serve as our General Counsel. She will be an important part of our executive team focused on growing equestrian sport in this country,” said John Long, Chief Executive Officer of the USEF.

The USEF, a non-profit organization, was formed when the former U.S.A. Equestrian joined with the United States Equestrian Team (USET) to form one organization on December 1st, 2003. It has over 80,000 members and is the country’s largest multi-breed organization representing 26 breeds of horses and performance disciplines at over 2800 horse shows and events each year. It is the organization that fields the international high performance equestrian teams including the teams for the Olympic Games, Pan American Games and World Championships. The national headquarters is at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington.

Ms. Goodman is a native of Lexington, and received her undergraduate degree at Transylvania University and her J.D at the University of Kentucky College of Law. Ms. Goodman is admitted to the Bar in both Kentucky and New York.
