Kenny Excels Again In Belgium

Ireland's Darragh Kenny continued in excellent form at the Pony/Junior meeting in Moorsele, Belgium, today (Saturday). Yesterday the 15 year-old Offaly rider, who is Ireland's sole representative at the event, had secured one victory, and was placed 2nd, 3rd and 4th in the four events he contested. This morning Kenny opened his account for the day with another 3rd placing in the day's opening Junior event on Tell Which Trump, before steering Earls Golden Glory into a further 3rd spot in the first of today's Pony competitions.

Kenny's run of high placings finally gave out when My Irish Paddy had one down in this afternoon's Junior event, and in his final Pony event of the day he put in a brave bid for glory with View Spot On when putting in a fast jump-off time but clipping the final obstacle in the process.
