Paul Miller Land Rover of Parsippany Joins 2003 Garden State Horse Show as Major Sponsor

Augusta, NJ—March 18, 2003—The 2003 Garden State Horse Show, presented by the Junior Essex Troop, Inc., April 30- May 4 at the Sussex County Fair Grounds in Augusta, NJ, is proud to announce that Paul Miller Land Rover of Parsippany will join the 2003 Garden State Horse Show as a major sponsor.

Exhibitors and spectators will have the chance to check out the new 2003 Land Rover, which will be on display in prominent locations around the show grounds. In addition, Land Rovers will enhance the aesthetic beauty of the Grand Prix ring as brand new models will be on display there throughout the horse show. As a special treat to the show’s exhibitors, Land Rover Parsippany will be offering anyone dressed in proper horse show attire the chance to test-drive a Land Rover along side a Land Rover of Parsippany representative.

The 2003 Garden State Horse Show will feature 5 rings of exciting equestrian competition. The week’s highlighted event, $50,000 Garden State Grand Prix, a member event of the King Shavings/U.S. Grand Prix League, will take place on Saturday, May 3.

The Garden State Horse Show draws top equestrians, with many making the show their first stop in the northeast after wintering in Florida. The prestigious event marks the start of the spring circuit, enticing hunters and jumpers with top prize money. More of the 2003 Garden State Horse Show highlights include the $15,000 Junior Amateur-Owner Jumper Division, part of the Show Jumping Hall of Fame Jumper Classic Series, The $7,500 Colonel George Saunders Gamblers Choice and Marshall & Sterling Children’s & Adult League, presented by Corona-Lexol.

The Garden State Horse Show is rated "AA" by USA Equestrian (formerly known as the American Horse Shows Association). As one of the largest shows of its kind in the country, the Garden State Horse Show attracts the nation’s best riders, including U.S. Equestrian Team and Olympic veterans such as Peter Leone, Anne Kursinski and Nona Garson.

In addition to witnessing top athletes, spectators can enjoy the numerous shopping and dining opportunities available at The Country Fair. Admission is free every day except Grand Prix Saturday, when admission is $10.00 per carload to benefit a local charity.
