horse USA Equestrian Announces Criteria To Compete At FEI Dressage Championships Of The Americas

USA Equestrian recently approved criteria for the selection of U.S. teams to
compete at the FEI Dressage Championships of the Americas, which will be
held July 17-21, 2002 at the Blainville Equestrian Park, Blainville, Quebec,
Canada. This is an international dressage competition sanctioned by the
FEI. Participants will come from throughout North and South American
countries to compete at four competition levels: Grand Prix, Small Tour,
Young Riders, and Junior Riders. Each team will be comprised of two
rider/horse combinations. Up to three teams per level may be sent from each
national federation. Countries confirmed to date include Argentina,
Barbados, Brazil, Canada, Mexico, Peru, Dominican Republic, and the United
