Barnmaster inaugurates World Show High-Point Exhibitor award for APHA

FORT WORTH, Texas-Barnmaster, one of the country's foremost builders of modular barns, has extended its support of the American Paint Horse Association by initiating a new APHA World Championship Show High-Point Exhibitor Award. Beginning in 2004, Barnmaster will award a $7,500 gift certificate for its products to the rider who claims the World Show's top honor.
"Barnmaster wanted to give APHA winners the freedom to choose their reward," said Jessica Miller, Barnmaster's national show coordinator and director of marketing. "The gift certificate is perfect. It gives people multiple options."
Miller notes that Barnmaster renewed its APHA sponsorship after receiving a tremendous amount of feedback from association members. The company's product has been APHA's official barn for the past four years, while Barnmaster has been an official sponsor for the past six years.
"Barnmaster has been very pleased with APHA in past years," said Miller. "They have always been good to us while we attend the World Show."
Dean Albers, owner of Barnmaster, has been a horse owner all of his life and has been building barns for 25 years. Because Barnmaster products incorporate the personal equine knowledge of the company's designers and craftspeople, it provides a barn that is structurally superior, aesthetically pleasing and exceptionally durable.

The many features incorporated in each Barnmaster building include:
o Rounded corners and edges
o Fire-resistant materials
o Chew-proof materials
o Stall guards
o 20-year roof warranty
o Lifetime kick-through warranty
o Wind-resistant design
o Feeder doors that open with one hand
o Sliding stall doors that can withstand a horse's kick.

Barnmaster has many options available for its custom-made, modular barns. The architectural designs are nearly infinite, and the company has a dedicated staff of consultants, designers and engineers to help build the perfect barn to fit your needs. Owners of Barnmaster products are reassured by the fact that the company stands behind all of its quality products.
Barnmaster has two locations: the original facility in Lakeside, California, and a second one in Midland, Texas. The Texas division was opened in 1993 to accommodate the demand for the company's products. Barnmaster also has more than 30 distributors across the country, helping horsemen and -women build the made-to-order, modular barn of their dreams. And because these barns are modular, the structures can be easily expanded as the customer's needs grow and change.
All Barnmaster barns are low-maintenance and are available in a variety of designs and colors.
"Barnmaster is proud to remain a part of APHA," said Miller. "We hope that the relationship can continue through the years to come."
APHA Executive Secretary Jim Kelley also wants the relationship to continue.
"We want to offer high-quality products to APHA's members," he said, "and Barnmaster's craftsmanship is unsurpassed."
