RALEIGH, NC- The Triangle's only Steeplechase has launched its website and new logo for 2003. Corporations throughout the greater Raleigh-Durham area are already signing on to return to the event in anticipation of Brookhill's eleventh season. This year's race is scheduled for Saturday May 3, 2003 on Brookhill Farm in Clayton, NC.

"It's always exciting to see our loyal corporate partners return to Brookhill with such enthusiasm," explains Race Chairman Will Stanley. Partnering with sponsorship marketing firm Wisse, Hollmann & Co., Stanley and the Brookhill Steeplechase have expanded their corporate and geographic reach to include universities and college alumni groups for the event's new College Park area. Sponsorship agreements are still pending with several companies at this point, but contracts have been signed for the this year include Mentor Graphics, Preferred Flooring, Movers Technical and Risk Insurance Management Services. In fact, the Johnston County Visitors Bureau has agreed to issue a marketing grant to promote the upcoming races and annual festivities such the Hat & Tailgate Contests and Children's area for the third year in a row.



The Brookhill Steeplechase is the only horse racing meet under sanction by the National Steeplechasing Association in eastern North Carolina. Run and operated by the Raleigh Jaycees, the Brookhill Steeplechase attracts over 12,000 spectators and some of the sport's best and highest acclaimed jockeys and trainers.
